Emergencies don’t always happen between 8-5 on weekdays. That’s why Lam-Air Heating & Air Conditioning has technicians on call and ready to help customers for emergency repairs – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year – for all makes and models.
What happens when I call?
When you call our office outside of regular office hours, your call is forwarded to our answering service. The answering service takes your information and notes the issue you’re having and send it on to one of our on-call technicians. The technician then contacts you to let you know he or she is on the way.
An emergency service call counts as an overtime call and is more expensive than a standard service call.
What qualifies as an emergency?
When it’s freezing outside and you have no heat. When it’s scorching hot or humid outside and the air conditioning just isn’t doing it’s job. Either way, it’s an emergency. And, winter or summer, Lam-Air is here to help with residential and commercial emergency services for air conditioning, furnace, and other heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.
How can I prevent emergency services?
Most of the time, simple maintenance can prevent the need for emergency repair service. This includes:
- Change filters regularly
- Keep your outdoor unit and the area around it clean
- Have an HVAC contractor service and inspect your system on a schedule
We recommend joining our Lion’s Den Maintenance Program to ensure your system is ready for any temperature or weather condition. Keeping your home’s heating and air conditioning systems in good working order can decrease the likelihood you’ll ever need emergency service and actually save money in the long run. If you do need emergency service, with our Lion’s Den maintenance program, there is never an overtime charge.
